James holds a B.M. Performance from Eastern Kentucky University and completed his M.M. Performance at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.
In the fall of 2013 James was chosen among a select few international students to study with Maestro, Oscar Ghiglia in the Incontri Chirarristici di Gargnano in Northern Italy.
James Meade, a Kentucky native, is a Classical Guitarist currently residing in Cincinnati, Ohio.
In addition to a wealth of teaching and performing experience, James has studied with many world renowned performers and teachers such as; Clare Callahan, Oscar Ghiglia, David Russell, Marcin Dylla, Zoran Dukic, Florian Larousse, Carlos Perez, Jason Vieaux, Lily Afshar, William Kanengiser, and Pavel Steidel.
James began his concert career in 2013 and since has given concerts in Ohio, Kentucky, and Italy (as a soloist for the conclusion of the Incontri Chitarristici di Gargnano). Most recently he has given solo concerts at Eastern Kentucky University, Jenny Wiley State Resort Park, and was featured on the Cincinnati Art Museum’s ‘Something Different’ concert series.
In 2015 James released his first official album entitled Canción.
